On Friday night, Feb. 8th, STLP (Student Technology Leadership Program) hosted its first annual “Battle of the Bands” student competition here at Bryan Station.  Five different bands performed, each competing to win the crowd’s votes for a prize of 15% of the profits for the 1^st place band and 5% for the 2^nd place band.   

Bryan Station’s own student band, formerly known as Invasion, won the competition and will receive a check for $229.16.  The second place band, Godspeed, composed of students from Henry Clay and Tates Creek High Schools, won 2^nd place and will receive a check for $76.39. 

The event also benefitted BSHS’s Invisible Children Fund.  Invisible Children received donations and 40% of the night’s profits, for a total amount of $652.08.
