Regional Swim Meet

Everyone did an awesome job at the regional meet on Friday, Feb. 1st. The boy’s team finished 12^th out of 16 teams, scoring 39 points. The combined score BS placed 13^th of 17 teams, with a score of 39 points. 

Boys 200 medley relay- Ben McCrady, Tyler Adair, Jonathan Bobbitt, and Cameron Brewer- they qualified for finals on Saturday and finished 10^th in the region. They also broke the school record by 3 seconds. The splits on the relay were:

Back- Ben McCrady- 32.55
Breast- Tyler Adair- 35.63
Fly- Jonathan Bobbitt- 25.50
Free- Cameron Brewer- 25.72 

Boys 400 free relay- Ben McCrady, Tyler Adair, Jonathan Bobbitt, and Cameron Brewer- they also qualified for finals on Saturday and finished 10^th in the region. They also slashed the 400 free relay school record by more than 10 seconds. The 100 free splits on the relay were:

Jonathan Bobbitt- 51.99
Ben McCrady- 1:04.54
Tyler Adair- 1:04.53
Cameron Brewer- 56.08 

CONGRATULATIONS to Cameron Brewer and Jonathan Bobbitt. They both qualified to swim at the state meet at University of Louisville on Friday.  Cameron will be swimming the 500 free and Jonathan will be swimming the 50 free and 100 free. Cameron finished 7^th in the region. Jonathan finished 4^th in 50 free and 6^th in 100 free.
