Defender Night, Health Expo, Pasta Dinner:
Don't miss our spring Defender night on Thursday, April 8th from 4:00 to
7:00. This is a great opportunity to meet with teachers. We also
have two other exciting events on this night - a Health & Fitness Expo and a
Pasta Dinner fundraiser catered by our Commercial Foods Class. Dinner
tickets are $7.00 and can be purchased through the PTSA via the

Bryan Station Defender Classic 5K Run/Walk:
This year's 5K will take
place on Saturday, April 10th at 8:30 at BSHS. Come out and support
many of our teams and groups by walking or running. Register by March
25th to receive a discount. Other events include a Health/Fitness Expo
and a Pancake Breakfast. Registration information and other details
can be found online at the
race website.

Call for SBDM Council
Parent Nominations: The nominations for the
SBDM Council are now open for Bryan Station High School. Please consider
nominating yourself or another parent (with her or his approval) for this
very important Council. We strive to be a council that is diverse in
thought, ethnicity, and gender. The most important purpose of the SBDM is to
improve student learning. SBDM Councils set school policy to provide an
environment to enhance student’s achievement and to meet the goals
established by Kentucky’s education reform laws.
Nominations must be turned in by March 25, 2010.

Missing Calculators:
Parents and students - Just a reminder that ALL "school
bus yellow" Texas Instrument calculators are school property and must be
returned to the math department. Only schools can purchase these
particular calculators and we currently have several missing. Any help
returning these is greatly appreciated!

We are taking final orders for The Crest, Bryan Station High School’s
2009-2010 Yearbook. This year’s theme is “Play List” and it reflects how we
play and work together. The Yearbook is 160 pages (larger than it has been

College Connection is a program coordinated by Fayette County Public
Schools and the Postsecondary Inclusion Partnership (PIP) to benefit high
school seniors with disabilities.
